The deeper we get into the NFL postseason, the more wagers we typically see pop up between representatives from the cities involved. The Atlanta Falcons-Philadelphia Eagles (4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday) game will be no exception to that, and it looks like one of the more fun, friendly and downright delicious wagers will involve a pair of MLB teams.

Naturally, we’re talking about the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies. They took to Twitter on Friday to make a bet we’d love to be involved in, as the winner will be treated to some good eating courtesy of the losing side.

We dare say there will be no losers here. You can’t go wrong with Chick-fil-A, and though the Phillies have yet to reveal what they would send to Atlanta, there’s no shortage of incredible options in the City of Brotherly Love.

The bet, though friendly, does add another layer to a once intense baseball rivalry. The Braves and Phillies battled for the National League pennant in 1993, before becoming NL East rivals one year later when the MLB’s divisions were realigned.

Though neither has been competitive of late, the rivalry could reignite soon if both teams make good on their rebuilding efforts. Perhaps another fun wager might be over which team wins more games in 2018.

That’s for both cities to argue about later. Right now, the focus is on football and which side will have bragging rights, and a good meal, as a result.
