Britney Spears Addressed Fan Concerns About Her Mental Health on Instagram

Ever since the release of the Framing Britney Spears documentary, and the resurgence of the #FreeBritney movement, fans have become increasingly concerned about the pop star's well-being. But Britney is assuring everyone that there's no need to worry.

In a rare move, Spears posted a video to Instagram, answering her fans most frequently asked questions — including whether or not she gets dizzy while spinning (short answer: yes), why she posted a photo of a red refrigerator (she liked it), and, finally, if she's okay.

"Yes, I'm totally fine," Britney responded. "I'm extremely happy, I have a beautiful home, beautiful children." She also addressed why she hasn't released any new music, "I'm taking a break right now because I'm enjoying myself."

Last month, Spears broke her silence about the Framing Britney Spears documentary, and revealed that she was "embarrassed" by all of the attention.

"My life has always been very speculated…watched…and judged really my whole life !!! For my sanity I need to dance to @iamstevent every night of my life 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 to feel wild and human and alive !!! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people 😳😳😳 !!!" she previously wrote in response to the doc on Instagram. "It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I've always been so judged…insulted…and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 !!!!"

She continued, "I didn't watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in," Spears continued. "I cried for two weeks and well….I still cry sometimes !!!! I do what I can in my own spirituality with myself to try and keep my own joy…love…and happiness ✨🙏🏼 ☀️ !!!! Every day dancing brings me joy !!! I'm not here to be perfect…perfect is boring…I'm here to pass on kindness 💋💋💋 !!!!"
