Brooklyn Beckham has been mocked after making a sandwich during the cooking segment of the Today show.
The 22-year-old — the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham — was a guest on the US daytime show this week and demonstrated how to make an English breakfast sandwich.
At the start of the segment he explained that his love of cooking really kicked in during lockdown.

“I've always loved food and obviously when quarantine hit I just really started to get into it,” Beckham said.

He then took hosts Hoda Kotb and Carson Daly through the steps as he made the bacon, sausage and egg sandwich.
Viewers were a bit shocked, questioning why a simple sandwich needed a TV demonstration.
“Brooklyn Beckham went on TV to show his culinary skills and cooked... a breakfast sandwich. I am done!” one person tweeted.
“So he made a sausage, English bacon, and non-runny egg on... untoasted white bread. With ketchup. Was this meant to be a joke?” asked another.
Another person said it was “extremely painful” to watch.
“I’d be embarrassed if I were @brooklynbeckham making a breakfast sandwich with ketchup on the Today show,” said another.
