Brooklyn Beckham Is Wearing Every Single Summer Trend, All At Once

If there were any man poised to synthesize fashion trends at lightning speed, it’s Brooklyn Beckham; the teenage progeny of pop culture icons David and Victoria Beckham. The 18-year-old wore a vacation shirt at Coachella before vacation shirts at Coachella were even a thing. Same story with Pablo tour merch. He’s best buds with Rocco Ritchie. And he's named after New York’s hippest borough, but was actually born in England.
Suffice it to say we aren’t surprised to see that Brooklyn’s lazy, “just tooling around London” outfit encapsulates pretty much every single summer trend that is real and not just in our imaginations. Literally, we can count eight of them and we’re probably even missing some.
Unless you are an 18-year-old model-slash-photographer like Brooklyn Beckham here, don’t feel like you need to do all of these at once yourself. Instead, treat this outfit like a Summer 2017 Cool Teen style bible, calling upon on it only when your outfit needs a little touch of now, be it the jewelry of the moment or a pair of socks in just the right color. Or, just admire it from the sidelines. You probably have good sense in your gut (um, literally) of whether you can pull off tucking a T-shirt into a pair of high-water pants.
