Brooklyn Decker calls out newspaper headline referring to her only as 'Andy Roddick's wife'

Brooklyn Decker is a mom, a former model, an actress (Grace and Frankie, Just Go with It), and now, a co-founder of the wardrobe organizing and styling app Finery.

But to some people, she’ll always be the wife of retired tennis star Andy Roddick — even if they’re writing about her business.

The actress and entrepreneur took to Instagram to point out an issue with a Finery write-up featured in the London Times. Though Decker and the app she founded with partner Whitney Casey are the subject of the article, its headline refers to her not by name but as “Andy Roddick’s wife.”

The sexist slight didn’t sit well with the TV star.

Celebrity pals like John Legend and Karlie Kloss gave her post a sympathetic “like,” while fans offered supportive comments and called the newspaper’s description “demeaning.”

“Who is Andy? I only know Brooklyn,” one joked.

“Preach it sister,” added Jenna Dewan — who has no doubt had a similar experience, thanks to her marriage to Channing Tatum, though the two have since split.

“If it makes you feel better, I had to Google who your hubby was… but I know exactly who you are,” a fan wrote.

And, because there’s always that guy, one commenter backed the belittling headline.

‘Did I miss the part where you did something as significant in the U.K. as [being] Wimbledon runner-up three times?” he wrote.

Fear not, Decker supporters: Her fans soon set him straight.
