Burst of Snow Observed on Penn State Campus as 'Arctic Cold Snap' Impacts Region

The National Weather Service (NWS) said on Friday, February 3, that an arctic cold snap would bring temperatures as low as 7 degrees Fahrenheit to State College, Pennsylvania – the lowest observed since Christmas.

The NWS said the cold snap would not last long and that the region would see “above normal warmth” next week.
