Caitlyn Jenner guest-hosted The View and talked about her differences with the Trump presidency regarding LGBTQ issues. The host mentioned that she posted a video offering to sit down with Trump and admitted that she hasn’t heard back.
She said she was disappointed by the administration in a few ways. Sunny Hostin mentioned that Trump was the first president in recent history to not acknowledge Pride Month. Jenner replied, “I thought he would be more outspoken when it came to LGBT issues.”
Jenner, who is an outspoken Republican, explained that she hoped to make the GOP more compassionate. She said, “The Democrats do a much better job when it comes to LGBT issues, I know that. I’m not stupid. The Republicans need help and I’m there to help them.”
