Cam Newton calls his shot pre-snap against Packers: 'You been watching film? Watch this'

Cam Newton came out firing against the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers on Sunday. He tossed a first-quarter touchdown to Christian McCaffrey to give the Carolina Panthers a 7-0 lead.

But the best part about the play? Cam, as confident and perhaps cocky as ever, called his shot:

“You been watching film, huh?” he yells while pointing at a Packers defensive player – possibly Clay Matthews. “That’s cool, watch this.”

And then he gets back to his normal cadence. He directs traffic, surveys the defense, takes the snap, and finds McCaffrey out of the backfield for an easy TD.

Rodgers responded with a touchdown later in the first quarter.
