Does the B in Cardi B stand for Birkin? No, because her real name is actually Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, though her penchant for the Hermès icon is no secret. Recently, she gifted her "WAP" co-rapper Megan Thee Stallion with a custom-painted Birkin and in a series of Instagram posts, Cardi and her daughter, Kulture, showed off their mommy-and-me Birkin style with a pair of pink bags.
"Me and my babe," Cardi captioned one picture, adding a pink bow emoji. In the photo, Kulture is wearing a printed pink onesie, white shoes and sunglasses, and a big pink bow in her hair. Cardi has a two-piece pink ensemble featuring a Chanel brooch, a hood, and a pair of cat-eye white shades. Their pink bags are on prominent display, with mom's in a two-tone pink-and-white combo and Kulture's in classic pink.

Cardi's second post was a video that offered up a behind-the-scenes look at the photoshoot. In the clip, mother and daughter are walking to the car, matching bags in hand.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the bag is Kulture's, not a piece she borrowed from her mother. Offset gave his daughter the purse for her second birthday back in July. He came under fire for giving such a lavish gift to a 2-year-old, but Cardi came to his defense, posting a message on her Instagram Story.
"When celebrities buy their kids jewelry and designer shit, people be like, 'Kids don't care about that. They only care about toys and candy,'" she said. "Yeah, they only care about toys and candy, but the thing is the kids also go outside. You know what I'm saying? Kids go to restaurants, kids go to fancy places, celebrity kids, they go do red carpets."
Cardi went on to say that she's fine with Offset buying Kulture a Birkin, because no matter what her daughter has or wears, she knows that she'll come under criticism for her choices.
"And if I'm fly and daddy's fly, then so is the kid. If I'm wearing Cha-nay-nay, my kid's having the same same, you know what I'm saying?" Cardi quipped. "It's not up to what the kids like. If it was the kids, they'd be outside in diapers. Because if I was looking like a bad bitch, expensive bitch and I have my kid looking like a bum bum, then y'all would be talking shit. So I'm not mad that Daddy bought baby a Birkin. She's gonna match mommy."
