Our first glimpse into the girl power world of Ocean's 8 is finally here! Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett were spotted filming the much-anticipated reboot today in New York City looking totally badass--in aviator sunnies and long trench coats. Bullock's all-black no-nonsense look reminded us a bit of her Miss Congeniality FBI days, and Blanchett was giving off serious '70s vibes in her leopard print coat paired with dark green pants and a matching green vest.

Although their characters' costumes look like they're from pretty different eras, leave it to director Gary Ross (The Hunger Games) and producer Steven Soderbergh (Ocean's Eleven Trilogy) to take different types of people and bring them together for an action-packed heist mission.

Not much is known yet in terms of the movie's plot, but we do know the all-female reboot is "very much an extension and a continuation" of the previous films, thanks to a few minor details provided by Ross to Entertainment Weekly. Bullock and Blanchett are set to be joined by industry powerhouses Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter.
