June is Pride Month, and joining in on the celebration are our favourite beauty brands. As you shop the many limited-edition rainbow makeup collections and products this month, it’s a good idea to note where your money is actually going.
Many skincare and many brands are taking the saying “put your money where your mouth is” literal sense and putting forth donations to support and help celebrate the LGBTQ+ community.

Marc Jacobs Beauty’s Enamoured Dazzling Gloss Lip Lacquer has launched new shades in a limited-edition rainbow design. Until July 10, 2019, 10 per cent of global sales will go SAGE, an advocacy and service group for LGBT elders.

For the love of pride, Sephora has come out with a limited-edition #Lipstories lipstick. #Lipstories Pride is available in shade 27 (Hong Kong By Night), a red shade in a metallic finish. For every $1 of this lipstick purchase, Sephora will be donating to LGBTQ organizations.

Milk Makeup
With their limited-edition Wear Your Pride Set, Milk Makeup will be donating net proceeds to The Center, a community space in NYC that provides resources and programming for the LGBTQIA+ community.

Elevating its participation of Pride by supporting the LGBTQ+ community in over 20 regional events across North America, including Toronto Pride and Montreal Pride, the makeup brand will engage with the community through sponsorships and makeup demo s and touch-ups. Along with supporting the community during festivities, MAC Cosmetics has come out with a limited-edition MAC Cosmetics Loves Pride Glitter Kit that proudly includes seven iridescent shades of the rainbow flag.

This cult-favourite beauty brand teamed up with influencer blogger Jessie Paege to create the most beautiful eye set to celebrate the pride. On top of it all, Tarte has also donated a whopping $25 thousand to the Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention & suicide prevention services to LGBTQ+ young people under 25.
