Chelsea Handler's Beloved Dog Chunk Dies: "He Was the Love of My Life"

It's a very, very sad day for Chelsea Handler. The talk show host and comedian shared that her beloved dog Chunk has died. She revealed the heartbreaking news in a touching Twitter post, and it will definitely bring a tear to your eye.

"This guy passed away today and he was the love of my life," Handler wrote alongside a photo of her pup looking very happy and loved while wearing a bandana. "I was one of those people who would tell people that pets aren’t more than people, but some of them are better than some people, and chunk was a true gentleman. And a Democrat. I love you, buddy. I always will."

Sadly, this is the second dog that Handler has lost in the last year. In August, she announced that she had to put her dog Tammy down due to her health issues.

"I lost my bear today,” Handler, 42, wrote. “She was struggling and I couldn’t bear to have her fight anymore. Anyone who doesn’t believe a dog changes your life has never rescued one. I only had 2 years with Tammy, but she made sure I never went to bed once without hearing her little paws mount my stairwell 2 paws at a time.”
