Chrissy Teigen and John Legend Own Twinning in Matching Outfits
In case you needed further proof that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are on the same exact wavelength, here it is. Not only did the color of their outfits match last night, so did the material.
The dynamic duo was spotted in New York City before Teigen attended Stella Artois’s King’s Feast to support the “Host One to Remember” campaign. Teigen sported a black, slouchy asymmetric sweater that fell off one shoulder and black high-waisted sailor pants with brass buttons. Her sweater was an interesting fuzzy astrakhan-esque material, which must have prompted a lot of unsolicited random stroking. Like her, the sweater shined under the spotlight.
Legend also wore all black — a button-down, trousers, and shiny shoes. So as not to ruin the warm fuzzy vibes, he tossed on an astrakhan coat that perfectly matched his partner in crime.
They walked out of a building holding hands, exhibiting the tight unit that they are.
Twinning might be tacky to some, but we all know the most statement-making couples coordinate outfits every now and then. No one will ever forget Britney’s and Justin’s double denim American Music Awards outfits in 2001. And the most powerful couple of them all (at least when it comes to style), Victoria and David Beckham, attended a Versace party wearing matching leather jumpsuits in the late 1990s.
