Never let it be said that Chrissy Teigen doesn’t have an amazing sense of humor about herself.

Yesterday, Teigen and her husband, John Legend, were among the lucky football fans watching the Super Bowl (and Lady Gaga) from prime seats in Houston’s NRG Stadium, and the model experienced the most common of wardrobe malfunctions: the nip slip. But the super chic supermodel took it in hilarious stride.

When someone tweeted Teigen a clip of her nip slip on live TV, she simply tweeted back, “boom goes the dynamite” and then promptly moved right along, continuing to fill her Twitter feed with one-liners, semi-serious newscaster impressions, and escalator shenanigans for the rest of the night.

Twitter users appreciated her always self-aware sense of humor. Many responded with like-minded jokes of their own, with some calling out the eagle-eyed Twitter user for being, shall we say, optically overzealous:

That Teigen took the revealing tweet in stride comes as no surprise to her fans, of course. When the mother of one suffered a particularly revealing wardrobe malfunction at the American Music Awards last fall, she addressed the debacle in her usual, humorous way: She posted an Instagram with a caption that gave a shout-out to her laser hair removal specialist, and included “apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha.” And for what it’s worth, designer Yousef Akbar, the man responsible for the daring dress, completely approved: he later told the press that Teigen wore his dress “perfectly,” errant breezes notwithstanding.

Last summer, when the model suffered what she described as a “wardrobe malfunction of the highest caliber” at the CFDAs, her reaction was equally unfettered. Teigen attended the event in a dress by Solace London with a slit that started out dangerously high … and then ripped. But she didn’t let that stop her from enjoying — or sharing — the festivities. “Let’s just say the slit took it upon itself to rip 5 inches higher,” she explained on Instagram, before carefully positioning her vintage Swarovski clutch to cover the mishap and going on to enjoy her evening.

Proof positive that even supermodels can be super easy going.
