Chrissy Teigen's skincare routine includes this throwback $8 product

As a former model turned chef and entertainer, Chrissy Teigen has put her skin through a lot over the years.
Now that she’s found the right balance of products that work though, the 34-year-old admitted in a recent Instagram post that she’s “feeling [herself]” and “proud” of the way her skin has been looking these days.
For those that are curious about how to recreate Teigen’s flawless complexion at home, she shared her entire routine with fans, which includes a mix of both high end and drugstore favourite products.
To start, Teigen thanked celebrity facialist Shani Darden for her product recommendations, which include the iS Clinical Cleansing Complex and Moisturizing Complex, as well as the Control Corrective Oil-Free Sunscreen SPF 30.
The esthetician-approved picks are all relatively affordable, ringing in at under $100 each, but Teigen mentioned that she also reaches for some luxurious staples too. When mentioning La Mer’s Crème de la Mer Moisturizer and The Concentrate serum, Teigen didn’t hold back her signature candour from fans.
“$$, I know I know but I gotta be honest,” she noted.
Included in her list of other favourite products, Teigen added the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel pads (“So important for on and around my nose and chin. You’ll notice a HUGE difference!”) as well as one throwback product that’s been around for ages: Bioré Deep Cleansing Pore Strips.

Retailing for just $8, the classic pore-cleansing treatment is an affordable staple that can easily be found in most drugstores and online.
Working like a magnet to draw dirt and impurities from skin, the strips provide a deep clean after every use, and help to reduce the appearance of pores with continued use.
This isn’t the first time that Teigen has shared her love for Bioré strips either, having documented herself wearing them in a series of Instagram Stories back in 2018.
“I like to pull these off, slowly, and then tilt them towards the light so I can see each little mountain, each tiny mountain,” she said at the time.
“And then I like to take my finger and brush the blackheads to the side so I can see their length. I take the strip and I fold it into quarters...That concludes my story, entitled, 'If Hannibal Lecter Loved Bioré Nose Strips.' Thank you.”
