Christie Brinkley, 68, makes a splash in a blue swimsuit: 'Grateful'
Christie Brinkley is soaking up the sun at her private estate in the Turks and Caicos.
The supermodel, 68, shared a series of snapshots from her tropical vacation that showed the star and mom of three walking through the surf in a pale blue swimsuit.
"Grateful!" Brinkley captioned the photo, which shows her gazing up at the clouds while sporting a beach hat around her neck and a pair of black sunglasses.
Brinkley shared a series of other shots from the exotic vacation, including a photo of a healthy meal she called "eating the rainbow." Filled with tropical fruits like mango, pineapple and papaya, as well as chia seeds and coconut milk with a matcha turmeric drink, Brinkley toasted her dedication to wellness.
"Here's to your health!" she wrote on the Instagram Story, which showed a napkin from Lucky House, which is Brinkley's beachfront estate at the luxe COMO Parrot Cay resort.
Brinkley is no stranger to enjoying the sand and surf, or posting a bathing suit photo to social media. Back in January, she shared a selfie in a black bikini worn underneath a cream crocheted cover-up.
Of course, with her willingness to share her life on social comes some criticism. Last month, Brinkley spoke out about ageism and "some of the ways that we are constantly being categorized because of our age" in a passionate Instagram post.
"The expression 'aging gracefully' should not be about one’s looks but about the attitude and energy one offers the world," she wrote. "Looking good is a byproduct of feeling great and showing up in the world with a heart full of good intentions, and good energy!"
