Christie Brinkley’s runway days may be behind her, but man, can she rock a red carpet. The 62-year-old stunner was on fire on the red carpet at Tuesday night’s Target + IMG New York Fashion Week Kickoff. The heat was due in part to the head-to-toe red ensemble but mostly because of her utter hotness.
While others at the event, like Queen Latifah and Kendall Jenner, shied away from the bold color — probably so they didn’t blend in with the carpet or Target signs — Brinkley faced the challenge in a bright knee-length dress, dark-red cropped cardigan, maroon handbag, and pumps in different shades of red and orange. And she killed it. Go big or go home, right?
The body-hugging frock with a deep V neckline and straps stretching across the chest proved that Brinkley is looking better than ever, showing off her perfect curves.
The model’s beautiful blonde locks were loose and wavy, and she added red nails and red lipstick.
Brinkley credits a healthy diet and positive outlook on life for her timeless beauty. (She would know: Her latest book is actually called Timeless Beauty.)
