Cindy Crawford says she 'regrets' being pressured to pose for certain provocative shoots
Cindy Crawford‘s modeling career has spanned three decades, meaning the 52-year-old mom has the craft nailed.
But a new interview has revealed Crawford’s had to face up to the darker side of the industry.
When discussing the prevalent #MeToo movement in the May issue of Town & Country, Crawford said that while she doesn’t have her own story of sexual harassment to share, she knows what it’s like to feel pressured on set.
“Look, I’ve done nude photos, lots,” she explained. “The only ones I regretted were the ones that I kind of got talked into. I don’t want my children to ever look back and think, ‘Gosh, I wish I hadn’t done that.’ I want to empower them to just say, ‘I’m outta here.’”
The supermodel didn’t expand on the subject, and didn’t name which shoots in particular left her feeling uncomfortable, but take a quick scroll through her Instagram account and you’ll see just how many shoots she’s done sans clothes:

Crawford also referred to her two children — Presley, 18, and Kaia, 16 — who are both forging modeling careers of their own.
Speaking about her involvement in their careers, Crawford explained she’s taken on something of a “momager” role.
“They have agents, but I would say for the first year, for sure, everything was 100 percent through me,” she said.

Crawford’s interview comes days after daughter Kaia Gerber’s latest campaign for Chanel handbags was criticized for being over-sexualized.
“Eventually I want to empower them to be in charge of their own careers, but they’re not ready for that yet,” she shared. “Right now they’re mostly, ‘Mom, just tell me what to do.’”
She was also asked if she’s concerned for her children in the wake of the #MeToo movement.
“Of course I worry,” she responded. “But let’s be honest: My kids are blessed in that business because they aren’t coming in as unknowns. People know that I will come after them if they mess with my kids.”
