Toronto is losing its mind after Raptors advance to NBA Finals

It’s absolute pandemonium in the streets of Toronto after the Raptors advanced to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

The sounds of cars honking everywhere filled the streets on Saturday evening, and fans predictably lost their minds.

Traffic is quite literally coming to a standstill.

At Union Station, one of the largest commuter hubs in the city, fans used a tractor trailor as a makeshift party bus.

It’s not technically a holiday but it’s certainly an occasion for fireworks.

Fans broke into a rendition of ‘O Canada’ to mark the Raptors’ momentous victory.

Raptors guard Fred VanVleet couldn’t even get out of traffic as fans circled his vehicle, and he couldn’t be happier.

Several fans gathered at Yonge-Dundas Square and danced in the streets.

Here’s an aerial view of the festivities:

If this is how the city reacts with a Finals berth, imagine how it’ll react if the Raptors win it all.
