Louis Vuitton has teamed up with UNICEF for the second year to raise funds for children who have been affected by the horrors of war and deprivation. Since January 2016, Louis Vuitton has helped to raised $2.5 million for UNICEF, and we can’t think of a better cause to get behind than this partnership!

The #makeapromise campaign is based on the pinky-promise gesture that is so often made by children. This year, 460 Louis Vuitton stores worldwide in more than 60 countries will be raising awareness with the LV silver Lockit pendant. Two hundred dollars from each sale of the pendant or locket will be donated to UNICEF. Every $200 can help provide six first-aid kits, 25 fleece blankets, or 45 life-saving mosquito nets to protect children and their families from malaria.

So if you were lucky enough to receive cash over the holidays or you didn’t get around to spending all your holiday money, this is your chance to own a cute bracelet or pendant and help keep this promise by either donating directly to UNICEF or treating yourself or a loved one to a silver Lockit at one of Louis Vuitton’s participating stores.
