Cookie dough coming out of the faucets sounds like something out of dream, but utilities officials in Madison, Mississippi, say cookie runoff from a nearby company is causing serious problems to the area’s pipes and water.

According to the Madison County Journal, the local DeBeukelaer Corporation, which makes Pirouline wafer cookies, has been letting cookie dough get into the pipes, and it’s building up and causing clogs. The company reportedly says they’re disposing of cookie dough properly and that the clogs can’t possibly be coming from them, but the municipal utilities chief says he has photos of water lines clogged with cookie dough, which is not nearly as delicious as it sounds.

The company seems to be disposing of excess cookie dough properly, but the problem comes from when the factory equipment is cleaned. The residual dough stuck to the machines is washed off, and that reportedly just goes down the drain and causes problems.
