Could Tyler Higbee be a viable TE option for fantasy managers?

SCOTT PIANOWSKI: LA Rams' burning fantasy question-- what the heck do we do with Tyler Higbee? When we last saw fantasy football in December 2019, it was Higbee who was the hottest tight end. He four straight 100 yard games, and then had 8 for 84 and a touchdown against Arizona in the season finale.

That's all nice and good, but skeptics might say, hey look Higbee wasn't even starting early in the season and was only getting increased reps because Gerald Everett was hurt. I think Sean McVay is actually moving forward with his offense. Remember this offense has gotten rid of Todd Gurley. They gave away Brandin Cooks rather cheaply. The genie seems to be out of the bottle with Higbee.

Now that four straight games, 100 yards for a tight end is very rare. He's just the fourth guy since the merger to do it. And he's matching up with names like Tony Gonzalez, Jimmy Graham, Travis Kelce. That's really fast company.

You can get Higbee right now as tight end nine in a standard Yahoo draft. I think he has top five upside at the position. I believe in the signature significance of how he ended last year. And Sean McVay is not going to go back. He's going to go forward Vote Higbee in 2020.
