Couple Holds Wedding Reception at In-N-Out Burger
After Juan Pablo and Vanessa Cervantes tied the knot, they headed to a reception where they and their friends and family would celebrate their union over food and drinks. The venue of choice was In-N-Out Burger.
The California-based burger chain hosted the newlyweds after a ceremony at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church on Friday in Rowland Heights. The In-N-Out, located nearby in the City of Industry, served up an order of double-doubles for the couple, with Juan Pablo ordering a side of animal fries.
The newlyweds told local news station KTLA that they “really like In-N-Out” and that was the only reason they chose the restaurant for their reception. Juan Pablo, who serves in the Air Force, told reporters that there are no In-N-Outs where he’s stationed in New Mexico.
The couple plan to spend their honeymoon in England.
The choice of a fast food joint as wedding venue is nothing new, however. In 2009, for example, one couple went viral after holding their reception at Taco Bell.
Taco Bell seems to have picked up on the potential and now offers wedding services in Las Vegas for $600.

The media is rife with examples of other culinary wedding destinations: Domino’s Pizza has a wedding registry; McDonald’s in Hong Kong offers “McWeddings”; and seven years ago a New Jersey couple said “I do” in a Gloucester Township Dunkin’ Donuts.
Earlier this week a Miami couple served their guests pizza at their wedding reception, complete with a tiered pizza “cake.”
“Tony and I love pizza and aren’t huge fans of cake, so we surprised our guests with pizza cake,” the bride told Wedding Chicks. “It was saucy and delicious and what pizza dreams are made of.”
