Couple shoots wedding photos in front of Raptors mural
As the Raptors murals continue to pop up throughout the city of Toronto, it was only a matter of time before a loving couple took advantage of a great photo op.
Shahin Shamshiri, co-owner of a streetwear collectibles store called OD Toronto, shared a video on Instagram over the weekend that showed an entire wedding party shooting photos in front of the three-storey mural on the shop’s Queen Street West facade.
OD Toronto began putting up Raptors murals in early May, beginning with a Kawhi Leonard display showing the Raptors superstar getting the fans fired up during Toronto’s second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers.
That mural was quickly replaced with Kawhi hitting “The Shot” from his miraculous buzzer-beater in Game 7 against the 76ers before that gorgeous piece of art featuring Toronto’s starting lineup was installed.
As Raptors fever continues to sweep through the city, the team has a chance to send the 6ix into an absolute frenzy with a win in Game 5 to claim an NBA championship on home soil.
