Of Course Everyone Wore Dior to the Dior and Guggenheim International Gala Pre-Party

When Dior throws a party, you know you can expect pretty much everyone invited to come dressed accordingly. And a gang of celebs, socialites, girls-about-town and regular degular stylish folk descended upon the Guggenheim museum for the Dior and Guggenheim International Gala pre-party on Wednesday night. Naturally, much of the crowd came clad in Dior pieces, to the envy of those of us who are still working towards their first Dior purchase. Yes, I’m talking about myself.

Still, the celebratory air of the evening was a welcome one. Guests sipped cocktails and bubbly as they chatted and swayed to the DJ. Hip-hop producer and rapper Future was on hand for the evening, blazing past guests as he entered before posting up, surrounded by a few stylish cohorts as fans tried to sneak in to get a photo with the EVOL rapper. Marion Cotillard, actress and Dior ambassador looked particularly fantastic, in a simple velvet dress that was perfect for her burgeoning baby bump. Patent boots added to the cool mom-to-be feel she was serving.

The evening included a live performance from indie artist Banks, who (surprise!) was dripping in Dior, changing from a black stretch wool dress into a sheer pleated black tulle and lace number. The singer had the crowd spinning and swaying to her tunes, proving that yup - this gal is one to watch.
