Of Course Olivia Wilde Just Shared a Super Empowering Breastfeeding Photo
Kudos to Olivia Wilde, who's continuing her mission of being the celebrity representative of all things related to parenting.
On Monday, the actress shared a photo on Instagram of herself breastfeeding her new baby daughter, Daisy Josephine Sudeikis. It's a great photo in of itself, but the kicker? While she's feeding her "drinking buddy" (LOL), she's wearing a t-shirt that appropriately says, "never underestimate the power of a woman." Because...you shouldn't.
*Starts slow clap.*
It's almost poetic, because if Wilde has proven anything during her pregnancy, it's that women - mothers and moms-to-be, especially - are strong and can stand up for themselves. In addition to carrying around a small human inside of her and birthing said human, Wilde has sounded off on a multitude of topics, from her fury toward a photographer creepily snapping shots of her to how she doesn't want Donald Trump to be president (especially as the mother of a girl!).
What better time, then, to casually share a photo that helps normalize breastfeeding and sends the message that women are a force to be reckoned with?
And, hey, maybe people shouldn't underestimate the power of baby Daisy, too.
