If you’ve got children, it’s likely your house is drowning in doodles. But though your little one’s first etchings are undoubtedly sweet, there’s only so many stick men scribbles one fridge can display. So inevitably they end up being shoved in a loft-bound box never to be looked at again.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way of capturing those precious drawings in a way that was a bit more special?

Well step forward Tasarim Takarim, a Turkish-based jewellery company which cleverly converts children’s drawings into necklaces, bracelets, cufflinks and other beautiful items.

All you have to do is send in your little one’s cute drawing and the clever creatives will repurpose it into a stunning piece of jewellery.

“It’s like a single moment of someone’s childhood becomes timeless,” co-founder Yasemin Erdin Tavukçu, told The Huffington Post.

“Every drawing is unique,” Tavukçu continued. “So their application solutions and their techniques are also unique.”

Tavukcu says it was her daughter, Serin’s first drawings that first prompted the idea of turning children’t art into beautiful keepsakes.

Typically, the pieces are usually hand cut from silver or gold-plated silver, but lasers can be used if your child has really gone to town on the detailing.

The whole process usually takes about a week and prices range from around £100 for a small necklace to £165 for silver cufflinks. UK based customers can order via their Etsy shop.
