While the British royals are planning secret weddings, the Danish royal family has taken to more relaxing endeavors this summer. Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, the next in line to the Danish throne, recently shared new photos of their family at Gråsten Palace, the royal summer residence in southern Denmark.

The photos, posted on the official Danish royal Instagram account, show the family looking at ease in casual clothing. In the first shot, Mary and Frederik pose with their four children, Prince Christian, 14, Princess Isabella, 13, Princess Josephine, 9, and Prince Vincent, 9.

The ensuing shots paint a picture of life at Gråsten. First is a video taken while horseback riding, showing a picturesque, tree-lined trail. Next is a solo photograph of Prince Christian, who is in line for the Danish throne after his father. The young royal is dressed down in a gray t-shirt, smiling at the camera. Following her brother is a photograph of Princess Isabella with the family's border collie, Grace.

The final photograph in the post is a sweet shot of Prince Frederik and Princess Mary, who have now been married 16 years. The pair look cozy in the sunshine, with Mary placing her arm around Frederik. Naturally, in accordance with the season, the duo both wore sunglasses for the shot.

The sweet images were accompanied by a thoughtful caption, translating roughly to, “A couple of wonderful memories from the summer in the beautiful Graasten. With the desire for a continued good summer—preferably with a little more sunshine.”

While currently Mary, Frederik, and their family are the only royals staying at Gråsten, Queen Margrethe is set to join her son at the summer palace today. She has been staying at Marselisborg Palace, another one of the royal family's summer homes, for the past few months.
