Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin Officially Dating
Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin are a real couple, multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly.
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress and Coldplay frontman are "definitely dating," one insider told the mag. "They’ve gotten to know each other really well and are very comfortable [with] one another. Chris sends Dakota his music to get her opinion. It’s more than just a fling."
Johnson, 28, and Martin, 40, have already taken their romance abroad. The two were reportedly spotted at a Nick Cave concert in Israel last month, and were seen having dinner in Herzliya. According to an eyewitness, the duo was "really, really nice," though they didn't engage in any couple-y PDA.
Martin was previously married to Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children: Apple, 13, and Moses, 11. He and the actress remain on amicable terms after "consciously uncoupling" in 2014. Paltrow even shared an Instagram with Martin and her fiancé, Brad Falchuk, all having brunch together. The singer went on to date Jennifer Lawrence and Peaky Blinders star Annabelle Wallis.
Johnson was previously on-and-off with model and singer Matthew Hitt. Most recently, she was rumored to be dating Jon Hamm, after the two were spotted having drinks together in New York in early October. But days after that sighting, she was seen on a sushi date with Martin in Los Angeles.
"They seemed very happy to see each other and immediately jumped into conversation," a source told Us. Apparently, they "were flirty and laughing the entire meal."
