'Dancing With the Stars' Fans Are Really Freaking Out Over Tom Bergeron's Cryptic Tweet

Tom Bergeron has every Dancing With the Stars fan on high alert right now.

The former cohost of the ABC dance competition show had everyone holding their breath on Monday night when he tweeted out a rather cryptic message. The tweet included a YouTube clip from The Godfather Part III when Al Pacino's character utters the line, "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in." Along with the video, Tom wrote "Stay tuned...😏"

Naturally, everyone's immediate assumption was that Tom was being "pulled back" into Dancing With the Stars after the network let him go last summer and replaced him and Erin Andrews with solo host Tyra Banks. After seeing the message, his fans started tweeting at Tom and begging him for more concrete intel.

Is Tom Bergeron really coming back to Dancing With the Stars?

Right now, Tom's tweet remains one giant mystery. Thankfully though, Tom did clarify in a later tweet that he promises to reveal the true meaning behind his cryptic message "by next week at the latest."

"Well, I have to say your response to my admittedly cryptic tweet has been very, very flattering ... very heartwarming. Thank you for that," Tom told his fans in a Twitter video message.

Regardless of what Tom reveals, it's been previously reported already that Tyra is expected to return along with judges Derek Hough (who joined last season), Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. Len Goodman, who couldn't be a full-time judge last season due to COVID-related travel restrictions, will likely rejoin the panel officially this fall pending the state of the pandemic.
