A horrific shooting at a club in Little Rock last weekend affected one of Arkansas’ most famous athletes.
Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden, who was a superstar for the University of Arkansas, was seen outside Power Ultra Lounge early Saturday morning after a shooting that injured 25 people. According to the Associated Press, the shots came after dispute among clubgoers, multiple people fired shots and terrorism was quickly ruled out.
McFadden was spotted in the aftermath because he had relatives inside the club, and three were reportedly injured. On Monday night he went on Twitter to explain and ask for privacy for his family.
Thanks everyone for checking in and praying for my family. Just to answer a few questions: pic.twitter.com/QTAF0mbVIR
