The Definitive Answer on *Those* Rumors Taylor Swift Is Performing at the Grammys on Sunday
The 2024 Grammys are coming up on Sunday night (February 4), and Taylor Swift has a ton of nominations—including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. So chances are, she'll attend. But the real question is: Will she be blessing us with a surprise performance?
Taylor's name hasn't officially been announced as a Grammys performer, but there were claims circulating over the weekend that she could make an on-stage appearance (especially since she's currently on the Eras Tour and has choreography pretty much ready to go).
However, according to Entertainment Tonight, rumors that Taylor will be performing at the show are false. In fact, the outlet recently noted that she has "a quick turnaround before resuming her record-breaking Eras Tour on the other side of the world." Us Weekly also reported that Taylor won't be taking the stage, and even added the following intel from a source: "She will not perform despite rumors to the contrary."
Reminder that Taylor is set to perform back-to-back Eras Tour shows in Tokyo just a couple of nights after the Grammys (beginning on February 8), so it makes sense that she's focusing on her tour!
That said, she's still super excited about the nominations! Per ET's reporting, Taylor was in Argentina when this year's Grammy nominations dropped and told fans on stage "The way you have supported my album, Midnights, it just got nominated for six Grammys. You're the best."
HER REACTION TO BEING NOMINATED FOR SIX GRAMMYS WAS SO CUTE 🥺🥺🥺🥺@taylornation13 #BuenosAiresTSTheErasTour pic.twitter.com/vBxWFlxUmX
