Demi Lovato Has Reportedly Contacted Lawyers Over Max Ehrich

A source claims the singer is having issues with her ex "not leaving her alone."

Demi Lovato has reportedly sought legal counsel over her ex-boyfriend, Max Ehrich.

A source claimed to E! News that the singer "is having all sorts of issues with Max not leaving her alone."

"He has been trying to get in contact with her family and friends and they have all blocked him," the source explained. "She's in contact with lawyers now on what to do."

Last month, it was reported that Lovato and Ehrich called off their engagement after Ehrich popped the question back in July. "It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers," a source told People. "They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together."

Though Lovato herself has yet to publicly address the split, Ehrich has been vocal on social media, claiming he learned of the breakup via tabloids, which a source denied to People: "Demi made Max aware that the relationship was over and it was going to come out in the press." Ehrich also claimed he hasn't been in contact with Lovato.

Over the weekend, the actor was photographed by TMZ, appearing to cry while sitting on the beach where he reportedly proposed to her.

At the time of the breakup, sources told E! that Lovato called off the engagement because "there were many red flags she was ignoring and trying to turn a blind eye to," and that Lovato "didn't know who Max truly was and didn't think he had good intentions."
