The devastating reason this mom-to-be Photoshopped her husband into maternity photos

When newlyweds Amanda and Jesse Snyder learned they were expecting their first child, they were inseparable. Jesse would help his wife through her pregnancy any way he could.
“He was there for every appointment, he was there right next to me when I was so sick I couldn’t leave the bathroom or my bed, and he did everything he could to show his love to me,” Amanda told Huffington Post.

On May 27, Jesse was killed in a freak accident. His wife, 6-months-pregnant at the time, was forced to prepare for the birth of their child without him. In a bid to keep her late husband’s memory alive, Amanda decided to hold a maternity shoot that would incorporate Jesse’s image.

Shanna Logan, a photographer from Pennsylvania, got the chance to work on the heartbreaking project and was moved by the results.

“Amanda Snyder lost her husband, Jesse Wayne Snyder, who passed while she was pregnant with their son,” wrote Logan in a Facebook post. “She was in the middle of moving, big life changes, and about to deliver her precious baby boy very soon. We did the shoot in remembrance of him.”

Snyder, who went into labour on Aug. 2, gave birth to a baby boy named Jameson.

“Amanda, you are strong, amazing, and you’re going to be the best momma to that little boy,” Logan continued in the post. “Jesse will always be watching over you and be by you and your son’s side.”
