Diddy Finally Explained His #TBT Post of Jennifer Lopez
Back in May, when the world was still reeling from the dissolution of J-Rod, Diddy added another layer of confusion to the situation when he posted a throwback photo of himself holding hands with Jennifer Lopez.
Without any context and a caption that simply read "#tbt," fans speculated that Diddy was either reminding everyone that he and Lopez dated or that he was reminding J.Lo that he was available in case she needed a familiar shoulder to lean on. And while she chose a different shoulder, Diddy finally opened up about the post in a new interview with Vanity Fair, saying that it was a simple throwback and he didn't mean anything by the photo.
"It wasn't no trolling involved, that's just my friend," Diddy said. "And I don't have nothing to say about her relationship or her life."

Lopez and Diddy dated for two years before breaking up in 2001. People adds that the two have remained friendly since the separation, with Diddy attending J.Lo's Vegas residency in 2018 and Lopez bringing Alex Rodriguez along to a charity event hosted by the rapper.
Like Lopez, Diddy noted that he's in a great place now, saying that he's happy and smiling more than ever before.
"I am the happiest I've ever been in life, I laugh the most, I smile the most, I breathe the most," he said.
