It’s been 30 years since legendary singer-songwriter Dolly Parton released Christmas music, but her highly anticipated new Christmas album, A Holly Dolly Christmas, is finally here!

The 12-track album features a mix of Christmas classics, including All I Want For Christmas Is You and Holly Jolly Christmas, as well as some brilliant new Dolly originals.

It’s not just Dolly on the album either, as it features a number of exciting duets, including with the king of Christmas himself, Michael Bublé, as well as Jimmy Fallon, Miley Cyrus and her younger brother Randy Parton.

But this isn’t the only Christmas cheer Dolly is bringing us this year, as she’s also releasing a Christmas musical.

The film titled Dolly Parton’s Christmas On The Square will showcase on Netflix from 22 November and will feature 14 new original songs written by Dolly.

The story centers around a wealthy, unfriendly woman, called Regina Fuller (played by Christine Baranski), who returns to her small hometown in the wake of her father’s death to evict everyone right before the holiday season.

But after an encounter with an angel (played by Dolly), a rekindling of an old romance and hearing stories from the local community, Regina ends up having a change of heart.

Debbie Allen, who directed the film, posted the news on her Instagram saying the musical “will bring the joy the world needs right now.”

It looks like 2020 just got a little brighter – we can’t wait!
