Give the woman what she wants.

January 2021 marks a momentous occasion that may just be the milestone that gets us through all the mayhem and madness of 2020. Dolly Parton will be celebrating her 75th birthday on the 19th and if she has her way she could be gracing the pages of Playboy again. During an appearance on BBC Radio 5's Scott Mills & Chris Stark Show over the weekend, the country music legend, cultural icon, and human embodiment of optimism and rhinestones addressed rumors that she could be in talks with Playboy for a pictorial.

"Well, there's some truth in that," she said of the rumors. The idea of Parton returning to Playboy (she had a cover back in 1978 and did have any nude photos in the accompanying story) started earlier this year when reporters asked her whether or not she had plans to retire.

"I just might do it. If I can do it in good taste and they want it, we'll do it along with a really good interview inside," she continued. "So, yeah, it's possible. Yep, we've talked about it."

Back in March, Dolly said that she wanted to be on the cover to celebrate the milestone birthday. But thanks to her signature brand of humor and the fact that she had done it before, fans weren't sure whether or not she was serious about it.

"I don't plan to retire. I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again," she told 60 Minutes Australia. "See, I did Playboy magazine years ago and I thought it'd be such a hoot if they'll go for it — I don't know if they will — if I could be on the cover again when I'm 75."

She even joked that she'd be able to recycle the outfit she wore for the '78 cover.

"Boobs are still the same!" she insisted.
