Domino's employee assaults co-worker over 'Avengers: Endgame' spoiler, police say

A Domino’s employee attacked a co-worker after he spoiled Avengers: Endgame for him this weekend, police said.

The Friendswood Police Department responded to a report of an assault at the pizza store early Sunday, according to Houston news station ABC13.

Justin Surface, 33, was issued a citation for assault by contact after losing his temper at a co-worker who revealed a spoiler from Marvel's latest superhero film, which was released on Friday.

“That just seems kind of insane to me,” one Domino’s customer told ABC13. “I feel like if they were that into it, they should have preordered tickets.”

This isn't the first instance of a person hulking out over a spoiler of the blockbuster. Last week, a man outside a movie theater in Hong Kong was attacked when he shouted out spoilers to fans waiting in line to see the movie.

Perhaps these loose-lipped fans didn't heed the movie's directors' advice.

“Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help,” Anthony and Joseph Russo wrote in an open letter prior to the movie's release. “When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.”
