Friday’s forecast in Washington, D.C. is predicting rain during Donald Trump’s inauguration, meaning there is a possibility that it may literally rain on the soon-to-be president’s parade. But Mr. Trump isn’t worried about a little inclement weather. Actually, he sees it as an opportunity to once and for all kill the speculation around his hair, which to this day puzzles lots of people. Seriously, how does it move in the wind as one unit like that?

According to The Hill, at a campaign donor dinner at Union Station, Trump addressed the crowd saying, “It may rain, it may not rain. It doesn’t matter. I don’t care. If it really pours, that’s OK because people will realize it’s my real hair and that’s OK. It might be a mess, but they’re going to see that it’s my real hair.”

Donald Trump’s hair might be one of the biggest mysteries about him. Gawker published an article in May investigating Trump’s coif, suggesting that it may be a very expensive and maintenance-heavy weave, but others think the answer is much less complicated — it’s a hair transplant. Gersh Kuntzman wrote for the New York Daily News, “Trump often makes a great show of letting people touch his hair to prove it’s not a toupee. But that proves nothing: hair transplants feel like real hair because they consist of real hair.” Kuntzman notes he has seen hair transplant procedures many times “…it puts hair from the place where a bald man doesn’t need it to where he does. It often looks thin, but it’s real hair.”

Either way, wet or not, it’s doubtful that there is much Trump can do to dispel the mystery about his hair.
