Dr. Phil Just Gave Away Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s Wedding Date
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner may need to find friends who are slightly less excited about their romance. In an Instagram comment, Dr. Phil seemed giddy with the couple who are currently in Paris for their second, more formal wedding, and he may have accidentally spilled the beans on the date.
In a comment on Turner’s photo of her and Joe in the city of love, Dr. Phil wrote, “Easy now! 1 week to go! Ha! See you at the wedding!”
This would make their official wedding date next Saturday, June 29. This wouldn’t be the first time one of their guests couldn’t keep the details under wraps. During their first ceremony in Las Vegas back in April, Diplo, clearly unaware that the event was supposed to be a secret, live-streamed the nuptials on Instagram. Both Turner and Jonas have confirmed that they were unaware that he was sharing their wedding with the world.
“Yeah, he did ruin it,” Jonas said during a radio interview. “I love Diplo, but he loves his ’gram more than a 13-year-old. He posts every five seconds. He literally, like, live-streamed with dog face filters.”
In an interview with Porter, Turner added that she wasn’t too disappointed in the turn of events.
“It would have been better if no one had known, but I actually think it was funny,” she said.
As for their second round of wedding festivities, it’s expected to be a much bigger affair than the Vegas version.
“Joe and Sophie want to have a huge party,” a source told Us Weekly back in May. “The decor is going to be sophisticated, but there’ll be some kitschy elements, including a really wild cake. There’ll be a live band, and the Jonas Brothers are expected to take the stage.”
Hopefully everyone manages to stay off Instagram this time.
