Drake is living up to his reputation as the softest rapper alive.

Back in June, the Canadian musician started cryptically teasing a line of scented candles, Better World Fragrance House, posting an Instagram Story of four navy blue handles with handwritten gold branding. He captioned the post, "@betterworldfragrances Available soon cc:@ovoniko."

Currently, the brand only follows two people: Drake and @drakerelated, a hub for all of The Boy's music and business ventures, including his record label OVO Sound, October's Very Own clothing line, and his Certified Lover Boy Nike merch.

The website, on the other hand, is just landing page right now, but this will likely be the home of Drake's latest venture.

While celeb beauty lines aren't exactly a new concept, it's clear that candles are the new skincare brands. Within the last year, Kacey Musgraves teamed up with cult-favorite Boy Smells on a scent inspired by her song, "Slow Burn," OG beauty YouTuber Jackie Aina launched her candle brand Forvr Mood, and even Gwyneth Paltrow has created Goop scents that smell like her vagina and prenup.

As far as Drake goes, just know if you're reading this, it's not too late to get your hands on the rapper's candles...because they haven't launched yet.

Here, everything we know about his upcoming Better World Fragrance House line so far.

Why Is Drake Making Candles?

Drake is a man who isn't afraid to get into his feelings. He collects Birken bags for his future wife, "brushes his teeth with activated charcoal before club nights," and pays homage to his favorite fragrances with songs and tattoos for crying out loud. ("Tuscan Leather" is the named after the Tom Ford perfume and he got a Drakkar Noir bottle tattooed on his shoulder in 2017.)

Plus, since the beginning of COVID-19, he's been spending a lot of time in his Toronto mansion, where he sleeps in a bed with a headboard that includes an accent antique mirror, leather, and a whiskey-and-champagne bar on the reverse side. So one can't possibly reach full hygge during winter quarantine without the right scented candles, right? And World Fragrance House's blue and gold glass jars conveniently match the rapper's decor color scheme.

But he may have also gotten a little inspiration from Midnite's Live In Eugene album, according to Revolve.

Who Is Making Drake's Candles?

Good question! Drake may have shared a photo of his candles on his dining room table, but he and his woes aren't burning the midnight wick themselves.

The rapper has reportedly teamed up with fragrance house Givaudan. During a September episode of Revolve U, perfumer and fragrance expert Michael Carby of the Swiss fragrance house shared that he and his team had recently met with Drake in Toronto. The two hit it off during a chat about the similarities between writing songs and creating fragrances.

And the scented candle industry was never the same.

What Do Drake's Candles Smell Like?

Leather, cigar ashes, fresh Nike sneakers, and the beef patties from Bathurst station (if you're from Toronto, you know), are all possible scent stories. But Revolve has spilled the official details.

There appears to be five soy wax candles, all made in Canada (duh!). Each candle comes with a gold marker to personalize the jar. According to Michael Carby's Revolve page, the candles are supposed to launch this holiday season and there's a preview of Carby Musk, Good Thoughts, and Sweeter Tings on Revolve's website. The other two scents come up if you do a Google search.

The candles are all "sold out" but appear to be priced at $48, excluding Carby Musk, which is $80. And yes, one smells like The Boy himself.

Carby Musk: "Smooth musk fragrance is introspective as in an interpretation of your beautiful self, yet extrovertive as how you would want others to see your bold and brilliant self. Features notes of Musk, Ambers, Cashmere, Suede, and Velvet. Actually smells like Drake — it's the personal fragrance he wears, which inspired BWFH."

Sweeter Tings: "An addictive and nostalgic Oriental Gourmand fragrance with the subtleties of comfort and goodness. Features notes of Bergamot, Lemon Peel, Dark Voodoo Rose, Warm Cedarwood, and Soft Musks."

Williamsburg Sleepover"A genderless and luminous floral-woody musk fragrance that captures the essence of an urban garden under shaded lights. Features notes of Rose, Lily of the Valley, Vetiver, Amber, Musk, Patchouli, and Cedarwood."

Good Thoughts: "A bouquet of rich florals surrounded by a vibrant bright light of freshness for a captivating positive energy. Features notes of Fresh Aldehydes, Bergamot Oil- Italy, Fir Balsam Oil - Canada, Ylang Ylang - Madagascar, Clove Buds, Pimento Berries - Jamaica, Sandalwood Oil Album - Australia, Patchouli Oil - Indonesia, and Sensual Musks."

Muskoka: "Oriental Woody fragrance that emulates the smoldering warmth of burning woods, golden embers, and the feeling of being cozy by the fire. Features notes of Birch Tar, Fresh Clove Buds, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, and Smoked Leather Accord."

How Do I Get Drake's Candles?

You have to be an NBA player or celeb, for now at least.

After posting about BWFH on his Instagram Story, Drake has been gifting his candles to his famous friends, including Toronto Raptors players Norm Powell, Fred Van Fleet, Kyle Lowry, and Stanley Johnson, as well as Steph and Ayesha Curry, and Kehlani.

As for when everyone else can light their homes with Drake's scent, there's no telling. So for now, just hold on and check the rapper's Instagram and BWFH website's for updates.
