Dua Lipa added a high fashion twist to her latest denim ensemble.
On Wednesday, the 26-year-old "Levitating" singer took to Instagram to share backstage photos before her concert in Milan, Italy. In the photos, Lipa posed in her Versace-clad dressing room, which was decorated by Donatella Versace herself, in a $7,612 CAD/ $5,950 USD denim-printed two piece look with matching knee-high boots.
The singer's opulent look is from the Italian brand's collaboration with Fendi. The two Italian fashion houses have aptly titled the collection "Fendace."
"Backstage Milano baby," she captioned the photos for her more than 83 million followers, to which they quickly responded with praise, swooning over her "stunning" look.
"You are an angel and an icon," Donatella Versace commented on the post. "I love you so, so much. Thank you for the best night ever!"
"My jaw dropped," another fan wrote, while someone else added, "OMG. I'm living for this entire look."
"Outfit of my dreams," one person commented.
"Fire outfit," another chimed in.
Someone else penned: "You are truly insane for this," alongside a flame and lovestruck emoji.
Back in 2018, the "New Rules" songstress opened up about what drives her style choices in an interview with Refinery29. Lipa, who is known for her on-trend and sometimes unconventional fashion looks, urged women to think outside the box when it comes to fashion.
"Everyone is allowed to wear whatever the f—- they want, and it’s so important that they do," she said. "This is the way we move forward in the world. We have to break the norms."
"If women wearing womenswear is deemed normal, women wearing menswear should be normal, too. But normality is a tricky one. It's putting things in a box, and it shouldn’t be like that," she continued. "Because what is normal, anyway?"
Lipa added that her favourite style pieces are ones that are too beautiful to wear often.
"My dream boots are always something I could never wear every day; just something I want to put in a glass box and keep forever," Lipa said.
