The Duchess of Sussex and the Duchess of Cambridge will attend the Ladies’ Singles Final match at Wimbledon on Saturday.

Kensington Palace announced the royal outing via Twitter:

While the pair have attended a number of events together since Meghan married into the royal family – including the Trooping the Colour and the RAF Centenary service – this will make the first time the pair have attended an official engagement on their own.

Meghan will be supporting her close friend, Serena Williams, as she plays German sportswoman Angelique Kerber on center court.

Serena famously attended Meghan and Harry’s wedding in May and the pair spent a Sunday together at the polo the weekend before last.

Kate will return to Wimbledon on Sunday, this time with Prince William, to watch the Gentlemans’ Singles Final. The Duchess is a Wimbledon patron and a huge tennis fan.
