Camilla's son says he doesn't know if she will be 'queen'
The Duchess of Cornwall's son has admitted he does not know if she will be called Queen Camilla when Charles becomes king.
Tom Parker Bowles revealed he isn't in the loop about what his mother's title will be when the Queen dies.
The food writer told The Times: "I honestly don’t know if Mum will be called queen. That hasn’t been decided. There are a lot of interesting Sky documentaries about that I’m sure but I honestly don’t know if that’s true."
Since Camilla married Prince Charles in 2005 it's been reported she wanted to be called Princess Consort, instead of Queen Consort, with a statement put out from Clarence House at the time.

But the title of Princess Consort doesn't line up with the title of king, and so she would be the Queen Consort even if she opts not to use the wording.
She is now technically the Princess of Wales, but does not use the title because of the association with the late Diana, opting just to be known as Duchess of Cornwall or Duchess of Rothesay when she is in Scotland.
In 2019, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond told Yahoo's The Royal Box: "I’m glad there’s much more sympathy towards both Camilla and Charles now.
“Although I still do get the idea that there is a resistance to her [Camilla] being Queen.
“I think it’s still the residual feeling that she and Charles betrayed Diana, but as I say, I think that’s a long time ago and that in my view, if your husband’s called king, you’re called queen.”

The previous statement about Camilla's title was taken down from the Clarence House website in 2018 prompting speculation Charles would use the title of queen.
Historian Kate Williams previously told Yahoo UK: “There has not been an official notification, and Charles has said in a few interviews, he used the word 'queen', it’s obviously more Charles’ expectation and wish that she would be queen, but at the moment the official line is that she’ll be princess consort.”
Camilla's son, Parker Bowles, was speaking ahead of the launch of his new book Time for Tea, and also said Netflix's The Crown was "beautifully filmed and beautifully acted, but complete bollocks mostly".
He added: "I saw a bit with my dad and thought, ‘God, you’ve got him wrong,’ but I would say that, wouldn’t I?"

Andrew Parker Bowles appeared as a character in series three, where he had a short lived relationship with Princess Anne.
Although Parker Bowles' mother has found herself at the top of the Royal Family, he has made a name for himself as a food critic and writer, and is as well-known now for appearances on MasterChef as for being the stepson of Prince Charles.
It's Charles who Parker Bowles has credited for getting him on the straight and narrow, admitting he "loved raving" during his early 20s, until Charles, who is also his godfather called him a "bloody fool".
He wrote his first book in 2004, and has gone on to write seven more.
Parkers Bowles has one sister, Laura Lopes. He has two children from his first marriage to journalist Sara Buys.
He was dating Alice Procope, a psychologist who died of cancer at the beginning of March.
