The outfit was made up of an affordable Zara dress (which has already sold out), paired underneath a military-inspired forest green coat thought to be by Alexander McQueen.

The British fashion house has been a staple in the mom-of-three’s royal wardrobe since Kate married Prince William in a McQueen wedding dress in 2011.

And it wasn’t the only one of her go-to brands Kate called on for her first engagement of the year.

Kate accessorized the ensemble with a black croc-effect patent bag by London-based label, Aspinal of London. The Duchess was first seen with the bag in January 2019 during a visit to the Royal Opera House.

The price may seem a little steep, but as Kate has proved, the brands classic designs never go out of style, making it a worthy investment for years to come.
