Duchesses Kate and Meghan go big with their bling for Prince Charles' 70th birthday bash

Prince Charles' milestone birthday bash, hosted by the Queen at Buckingham Palace on Nov. 14, brought out the best in style for Duchesses Kate and Meghan! And while the private affair means the family won't officially pose, the sartorially savvy royals still managed to make a statement from the passenger seats of their cars, opting to let their massive, sparkling earrings do the talking.

The Duchess of Cambridge showed off her love for bright colours in a pink one-shoulder ruffled gown, keeping her chestnut locks coiffed in a perfectly chic updo. But the real kicker were the gigantic diamond drop earrings, which boast a pear-shaped central stone surrounded by smaller gems. Royal watchers may recognize these blindingly beautiful jewels from 2017, when Kate wore them to the BAFTAs, and her appearance a tthe 100 Women in Hedge Funds dinner in 2011.

Just as show-stopping as Kate's jewels were the Duchess of Sussex's danglers! The future mom turned to a stunning pair of diamond chandelier earrings that she recycled from her royal tour wardrobe, first wearing them in Fiji at an official reception withPrince Harry. While not many details are known about these particular jewels, it's been reported that they were borrowed, but the palace has not confirmed which member of the Royal Family handed them over. Wearing her hair up in a chic chignon, she looked fresh and polished with a simple smoky eye, peach lip and a dark gown.

Their husbands both looked equally dapper in their bow ties and tuxedos, ready to celebrate their father's birthday! It's certainly a big milestone for the future king, who is preparing to step into his biggest role to date when the time comes. Other members of the Royal Family are taking part in the festivities, too – Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are attending along with their dad, Prince Andrew, and Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank, and other European royals like Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, Queen Mathilde and King Philippe of Belgium, and Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit are all set to make a glam appearance.
