Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive in Bradford for first joint engagement of 2020

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were pictured in Bradford today to kick off a day of joint engagements in the area.

The visit marks the first public engagement of the year for Kate, who celebrated her 38th birthday on Thursday last week.

Prince William, meanwhile, returned to work yesterday, for an investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace.

The royal couple arrived at City Hall, in Centenary Square, to meet a group of young people and meet representatives from local businesses who are helping young people into employment.

Today’s visit to Bradford also represents the first public appearance for the couple since Prince William’s brother, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle announced they were stepping down as senior royals.
