Four new celebrities faced on the Oct. 9 episode of The Masked Singer, including the Eagle. The patriotic rocker vibe of the costume has people guessing the celebrity might be an old school musician, and the judges had some intriguing guesses of their own. In the end, though, no one got it right.

Who Is the Eagle on The Masked Singer?

Many of the guesses about the Eagle had to do with his physical appearance. A brief clue video revealed that the sun-themed jewelry, red bandana, and rockstar wardrobe were special requests from the celeb under the mask. That led some to guess bandana-wearing rockers like Bret Michaels, Axl Rose and Willie Nelson.

Because of the bandana, judge Nicole Scherzinger also guessed Bret Michaels, and Robin Thicke concurred. But some of the other judges went with more of a talk show or radio host vibe, since the Eagle's longer clue package mentioned that he'd often listened to other people's stories. Howard Stern, Adam Corolla, and Craig Ferguson were all named as options.

Several of the clues in the brief video package lined up with one of the prevailing fan guesses: that the Eagle is singer Bret Michaels.

In the video, he said, "If you know an eagle's body temperature, you may be hot on my tail." According to Big Bear Alpine Zoo, the eagle's core temp is around 106 degrees Fahrenheit. A quick Google search with Michaels' name and the number 106 reveals that he's been on the SiriusXM channel 106 before. (It's the rock music channel.)

Plus, not only does Michaels often wear a red bandana like the Eagle, but one of the shots in the video was the Eagle riding a motorcycle in the desert.

It seemed to be specifically the Arizona desert marked by the presence of Saguaro cacti in the background. According to Arizona Foothills Magazine, Michaels has a home in the Phoenix area and loves the desert. "I'd spent a lot of time in the area and I fell in love with it," he told the magazine. "I love that Southwestern, open desert feeling. It's a beautiful area to live in and raise my kids."

He also is a fan of motorcycles as one viewer on Twitter pointed out.

In fact, many Twitter users were convinced that the Eagle is Michaels.

However, several others seemed to agree with Jenny McCarthy that the eagle could be radio host Howard Stern because of the listening to people's stories and the "health scare" clue that came with the longer clue package. In 2017, he underwent surgery for a non-cancerous cyst in his kidney. Bret Michaels also has had health scares, though, including a small stroke and surgery for a hole in his heart.

In the end, the closest guesses were those that went the radio route. The Eagle was actually Dr. Drew Pinsky, host of the radio show Loveline. It aired on 106.7 KROQ, so there was the temperature clue's meaning. When Pinksy took off his mask, fans were shocked. No one saw that coming.

The panel was way off and the fans were way off, but at least we were all wrong together. Sorry Dr. Drew!
