Watch: 'EastEnders' adds last-minute reference to England's Euro 2022 win
In a scene shot after the 2-1 win over Germany at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, 31 July, various characters can be seen in the Queen Vic celebrating England's first major trophy since 1966.
The scene features Kim Fox, Lola Pearce and Queen Vic landlady Linda Carter enjoying a drink and raising a toast to the victorious football team.
At one point, Kim says: "Every single one of them is a role model, I'm telling you. If you can see it, you can be it," making reference to the number of women and girls who have taken an interest in football over the summer.
Linda also joked that she would whip out her own sports bra, a nod Chloe Kelly's celebration after she scored England's winner in extra time.
England's Euro 2022 win was the most watched TV broadcast of the year with over 17 million people watching the match on BBC One.
