EastEnders spoilers: Shock injury for Stacey, Whitney and Zack say a tearful goodbye
A cash-strapped Stacey takes on extra work on EastEnders next week, but her tiredness results in an injury.
Elsewhere, Whitney and Zack are struggling with their grief, while Suki encourages Ash to leave town. And will Callum’s promotion result in a breakthrough in Jack’s case against Ravi?

Stacey is scolded
Despite feeling grateful for her family, Stacey can’t help but worry about money, especially with Lily in need of a new school uniform. But her hunt for extra work meets with no success, as Linda turns down her request for a part-time job at the pub.

As a consequence, Jean secures extra cleaning work for them both, but Stacey is soon left exhausted after taking on these night shifts. Thursday’s drama will then see Stacey accidentally scolding her hand as she rushes to open the bap-van. And while seeking treatment at the clinic, Stacey decides to open up to Sonia about both her mum guilt and financial struggles.
Zack and Whitney say goodbye to their daughter
Zack and Whitney are at odds about leaving Peach at the hospital, but are then left disconcerted when it’s revealed that their daughter’s existence isn’t legally recognised.
Zack then seeks solace in the hospital’s faith room but is agitated the casual attitude of a dad-to-be. Whitney, meanwhile, softens to the idea of spending time with Peach after speaking with Nurse Lynsey, with Monday’s episode then finding both Whit and Zack saying goodbye to their daughter.
As the week progresses, Whitney’s struggles result in her pushing her loved ones away as she tries to come to terms with her loss. Zack, though, desperately wants to speak to Whit, unaware that she wants to talk to him too. Will the two of them end up reaching out to each other?
Suki to convince Ash to leave?
Ash reveals that she’s been re-offered a job in Canada, so Nish enlists Suki to help dissuade their daughter from accepting.
But wanting her girl to spread her wings, Suki suggests to Ash that she isn’t capable – knowing full well that these mind games will result in Ash taking the job to spite her.
Following this conversation, Suki tells Nish that there was nothing she could do and the pair reluctantly head to the pub to mark Ash leaving Walford. But Nish is set to find his rage building when he realises his wife has deceived him and, once home, ends up threatening her.
Callum gets a promotion
Jack offers Callum a promotion to Trainee Detective Constable and the two coppers will be seen celebrating in the Queen Vic alongside Ben, Vi and Patrick.
But Callum’s first day in his new post gets off to a troubling start when some other members of the force give him a controversial nickname. It’s a turn of events that leads to Jack trying to stamp out this kind of behaviour in his team.
Later on, Jack sets Callum the task of trawling through CCTV footage of Ravi. But the job results in Callum having to face making a big decision…
Jack’s investigation into Ravi also has repercussions for Denise, who continues to worry about what it will throw up. But will her efforts to persuade Jack to reconsider pay off?
Later on, though, Denise is given fresh food for though when Ravi walks into the Vic with a date and learns that they’re headed to the same hotel of their last dalliance. Will Denise’s jealousy result in her lashing out?
